As a general therapist offering Bishop's Stortford counselling, I work with clients facing a wide array of presenting issues, including anxiety, stress, bereavement, relationship problems, and more. I provide an empathetic and welcoming space where you will feel listened to and supported as you navigate the issues you wish to address at a pace that suits you. As a qualified integrative therapist, I employ a variety of approaches such as psychodynamics, person-centred therapy, CBT therapy, and somatic nervous system work, enabling you to tackle your challenges in the way that works best for you and guiding you toward the future you desire. I work with a range of clients and issues, have experience working with LGBTQ+ clients, and have a particular specialism in working with neurodiverse people.
Fundamentally, I enjoy helping people with whatever life has thrown at them.
She has helped me more over the last few months than anyone has in the last few years - she gave me the tools to deal with my thoughts and actions around my relationships with my family and friends, and how to better manage my ADHD and my feelings surrounding it. She is an absolutely incredible person.
I feel like we’ve come a really long way & seeing her every week is now part of my routine.
I can't thank you enough for the past few months; I feel like you have given me the confidence to truly accept myself for who I am, and to recognize that it's okay for my values to have changed - I'm not that kid anymore, and I don't need to carry that weight with me.
