Staff Training on Anxiety and Panic

As a form teacher and educational leader, qualified hypnotherapist, psychotherapist, and anxiety management specialist, Jo Cowley is uniquely positioned to provide effective anxiety management training for your staff. This training equips them with practical tools to manage anxiety and panic in the classroom, which they can utilize every day.

Jo's CPD sessions focus on explaining the physical symptoms (both internal and external) of anxiety and panic, while offering effective strategies that teachers, learning assistants, and pastoral staff can implement daily to support the mental wellbeing of students. She will demonstrate how to incorporate meaningful self-soothing methods into PSHEE and form times, and clarify the close relationship between neuro-divergence and anxiety, guiding your staff on how to assist young people with ADHD and neuro-divergence in self-regulating.

Her work is adaptable for INSET days, staff meetings, or as a workshop aimed at young people as part of your wellbeing programme. Jo can also tailor the session to address the anxiety, panic, and stress that staff may experience, providing them with tools to enhance their own mental wellbeing, thereby supporting your staff training in anxiety management.

Prices start from £125 per hour. Please get in touch to find out more.
